The End

This has been a very fast term and hopefully a successful one to. With every thing wrapping up and the holidays coming on strong its time for goodbye.I feel i have became stronger in writing and hope to continue to write through life.

Final Paper

With my paper almost all completed i feel very tired of typing. I have typed so much with all of the revision and rereading the paper it has just wore me down. But with all of this practice i think that i have written a successful essay. My idea of the topic has definatly changed over the nine weeks simply because i didnt know very much on the topic but now i do my nout look changed. Before i thought every one was the same that went to prision but in a different light they are all different. I thought my topic was a very good one  and had allot of information around it.

Editing

 This past few weeks have been allot of reading the same material. Its a good thing i guess so that we can learn to edit and proof read, its allot opf reading. I know my essay like the back of my hand could almost recite it word for word with out looking. I like it because im real familiar to my topic and if any body has questuions i would defanietly be able to answer them. This term has really opened me to writng and reading all together. Befrore i wasnt into it very much but after 18 weeks of writing and editing its not so bad. Comp 1 and Comp 2 back to back has made me a sronger writer for sure and now i catch my self free writing all the time more than i ever knew.

Peer Reveiws

 I like that we can do peer reveiws it gives us a chance to proof read other students work. Even though its a student doing the proof reading and not a teacher or professor does not make it any less quality editing. I beleive that it helps every body, and all should try befor knocking it. I remember last term when i was introduced to this techinque, i thought it was great and a very good idea. When i was goin over somebodys rough draft i noticed that they didnt use any quotations and this was an informative paper so there should of definetly been some. I wrote him back and let him know he didnt use any references to back up what he was saying, i guess it was a type of plagerism, so i was glad to be the first to catch it before a professor.

School

 The last six weeks have been a breeze. Can hardly think that the term is almost over. I have been dealing with homework and discussion board everyday im almost tired of typing. But i know that its all for the better so i keep going. This term has been a little easier than my other terms not sure why but it has. I look forward to next four weeks and hope to make a good grade.

Writing Style

My personal writing style is by doing a freewriting session and then making an outline. These are about the only two steps i get to and then i just repaet them until i get something i like. I also like to brianstorm it helps relevie some ideas that have yet not come out. Writing to me is an academic challenge , im not much of a writer and dont like to write much any ways. When i need to do so i do put my mind to it and try the best that i can.  School has helped me from the time i was in the first grade all the way up to now and the future. School helps me prioritze my day to be the most succesful in what ever i do.

Plagerism

 To me plagerism is a very serious deal. Rather your in school or the work place you should always give credit where credit is due. I havent personally been a victim of plagerism and if it ever happened im not sure on how i would handle it. I do know if it happened at school i would contact my academic advisor and professor and have them handle it. If it was at work i probally would confront them  and if that didnt work i would contact the supervisor. Citation is very professional and a must have in soceity.

Second Post

Im pretty sure that im going to go with the topic on mentally ill pateints in prison. Not sure why i chose this topic guess it just stood out at me. Being an online student has its pros and cons. I like the flexibilty and the act of knowing that you have time to complete things in your own way. Some things that kind of no good to me is the fact that there is no traditional classroom even though we have seminars it still isnt like real thing. Although dont fget me wrong i like the seminars they can be quite interesting and knowlegeable. I think if there was maybe more seminars it would bring all the classmates closer but not sure. As far as this blog thing goes i like it. You get to have other people publish on your site and comment to what you have written.

This is my first blog, have been messing around with it for a day or two and it seems to be allot of fun. not sure if i need to post here or actually in the blog so im going to do both. Hope every body checks out everybody's blog, very excited.
